Founded in January 2003, the French Designers' Alliance is the first multidisciplinary professional association in France representing designers, no matter which their areas of specialisation. Besides its representative role with organisations and government ministries, the AFD is currently conducting several projects including drafting the Charter for invitations to tender, the Ecodesigners' Charter and the professional code of ethics.
