From 21 May to 5 July 2025
Opening on 22 May 2025 from 6.00 pm
The Soleil cou coupé exhibition invites us to examine the potential and
challenges of technological advances in artificial intelligence. The
title of the exhibition is a tribute to the poets Apollinaire and
Césaire: language is the thread that runs through the interpretation of
the works. In the age of AI, the exhibition is intended to be the
starting point for a reflection on the evolution of artistic creation.
Through a range of works, some of which have been produced at a very
high level of technical sophistication, but whose sophistication is not
immediately apparent to the viewer, the artists question the role of the
author in machine-assisted creation, the capacity of the individual to
resist standardisation, and the balance between technological progress
and the preservation of our ecosystem’s resources.
