Recording studio and place where inhabitants/researchers can meet and talk about the sociology of shifting work paradigms At no. 40 Rue de la République, the shop is becoming, for the duration of the Biennale, a place for gathering testimonies on the multiple experiences the inhabitants of Saint-Etienne have had of shifting work paradigms. The survey will conducted in the form of interviews by sociology students supervised by researchers from the Max Weber research centre.
The students and researchers from the Max Weber sociology centre invite the inhabitants of Saint-Etienne à to come and talk about their experiences of work. This in situ survey, conducted in the form of interviews, aims to understand the means of "shifting work paradigms" as they have been experienced and told: what similarities are there, what differences? A recording studio will be set up for the occasion. Short amateur films showing a mosaic of professional situations filmed from the inside will also be screened. The shop will then become a meeting place, where people can also find out about the research conducted by the researchers from the laboratory.
