Usines In/Out, convers(at)ions ?

The Usines In/Out, convers(at)ions ? exhibition organised for the Biennale, invites us to question the place of these places of work in our collective memory, by creating a dialogue through an emblematic selection of photographs. Old photographs from the collections of publishers Editions Paul-Martial held at the Musée d'Art Moderne et Contemporain de Saint-Étienne, which analyse factory interiors are confronted with recent photographs of the Puy-en-Velay's industrial heritage captured by a contemporary lens.
