Textiles infra-ordinaires
The student designers at the ESDMAA (Higher School of Design and Art Trades of Auvergne) worked on textiles at the end of their course. Those that will no longer be used as clothing. Scrap materials, banal, heterogeneous and nevertheless invasive, since they account for two thirds of the tonnage of the items collected these days by recycling and recovery centres.
Sorted, transformed, reconditioned, re-used and staged, these textiles become new materials for new projects and extraordinary applications, ranging from uses of the thread to architectural uses.
