Terre et textile

This exhibition brings together 18 artist duos selected by a committee of experts. The selection criteria concerned the plastic quality of the works, innovation, the dialogue between the materials and the overall coherence of the work. This project received support from the Ateliers d'Art de France.
This new project shakes up the representations of the materials used. The gamble has paid off, the works have a strong identity: neither totally ceramic nor totally textile, materials normally thought of as incompatibles clash, blend together, interpenetrate and dialogue with each other, developing new colours, textures and forms.
