The changes in the way we work are inevitably overturning the ways we consume. From the ready-made to rikimbilis (in Cuba, objects made from recovered items), the exhibition is trying to highlight the behavioural changes affecting consumers. At the centre of the exhibition, taking pride of place as if bearing witness to the upheavals in society: supermarket trolleys. Transformed, modernised, alleviated, is their obsolescence actually not inevitable?
