Objet métisse

The theme "make machines not war" interests our students on the sheet metalworking vocational diploma course at the Lycée Le Marais Sainte Thérèse in Saint-Étienne. We want to take advantage of a real order for display counters for a delicatessen. This traditionally made prototype should lead the students to reflect on industrial robotised production, including the cost and market dimensions. Our aim is to create links with the artistic world in order to produce a piece in line with current usages and contemporary aesthetics enriched by a cultural input inherent in the origin of each participant.
