Nouveau regard sur le sapin blanc, essence locale par excellence
Wood is making a strong comeback as a building material, for individual and collective housing, tertiary buildings, new builds and renovation work. This exhibition shows how the silver fir, the local species par excellence, traditionally used for timber frames, also has its place in the engineered wood sector (glue-laminated wood for example) and in interior fitting out. A number of Loire-based firms have worked together to renew this wood's image thanks to design.
