Mutations d’hier

Blandine Leroudier presents a series of earthenware cubes. This object, somewhere between a vase and box, becomes the medium for photo-ceramic work.
Images almost a hundred years old are printed on them and offer a glimpse into the world of work in those days. This research gives us pause for thought, not on the changes to come, but those that have already occurred, of course. These first photographic testimonies of History open up a window to trades that no longer exist, lives that were sometimes harsh and a very solemn sense of the value of work.
