Les enfants designers de l’IME Chantalouette

The first contact the youngsters from the Chantalouette special school had with design was the creation of models of armchairs at the Cité du Design. That is when they found the theme for their participation in the Biennale: "it will be the home" and more precisely the fitting out of a living room. The orientation of their project quite naturally turned to environmentally-friendly design, using recovered materials in order to give objects a second wind. And so the Chantalouette children imagined, created and made tables, seats, light fittings, rugs and other objects that you absolutely should not miss!
