The subject is envisaged as a process of reflection and projection where design-creation and design-intention combine, from ergonomics to utopia. Work clothing as dressing up outfit, functional, protective, innovative, connected, narrative, as cosy as home, anti-conventional, conventional, academic - just some of the themes that will be touched upon. What impact can the design of work clothes have on our relationship with work and what consequences could there be on the relationship to the context and the users? What are the signs that suggest a search for meaning? How does clothing reflect the identity of a corporate or individual culture? How does its design interact with and transform our relations with others?
