La sieste

The break is a period of time when an employee is free to go about his or her personal business, without having to do as his or her employers says. He can eat, smoke a cigarette and even take a nap.
Inspired by Van Gogh's painting The Siesta, this proposition borrows its forms from everyday objects from the worker's world. This coatstand evokes the harvester's fork that is not shown in the painter's picture.
